Our own beloved dogs and horses aren't just pets; they're invaluable members of our team, helping us understand the deep bond you share with your animals. Duncan Graham BVM&S CertED MRCVS
This is Duncan, the Graham 50% of Grey & Graham Equine Vets. Duncan likes whisky, border collies and teeth. Duncan doesn't like milk in his coffee, the band Bastille or badly cooked food.
Originally hailing from the most westerly reaches of the United Kingdom, 6 years in south Wales has done little to mellow his Scottish brogue. He has embraced all important Welsh customs such as gravy on his chips and using the phrase 'cwtch'. However, there are ongoing discussions regarding his possible deportation due to his disgusting habit of buttering and adding cheese to his welsh cakes.
Duncan holds an advanced certificate in Equine Dentistry. In addition to spending hours staring into horses mouths, he has many years of experience in all aspects of equine veterinary work.
Laura Grey BSc BVSc MRCVS
Say hello to Laura, the Grey side of Grey & Graham. A local lass, whom some of you may know from pony club, showing, racing, various farming connections or just generally bumbling around as a vet.
Laura likes dogs more than people, horses more than dogs and crisps more than horses. Unfortunately she also likes the band Bastille…
In her younger days she bravely ventured outside Wales to work at B&W Breadstone hospital where she honed her skills under the watchful eyes of some of the most respected clinicians in the veterinary profession. She has a wicked eye for lameness, prides herself in being able to scope a guttural pouch with her eyes closed and can cut a colt faster than you can say “I hate Bastille”
Sophie Watkins
Easily the most important member of the Grey & Graham team, Sophie does a fantastic job of keeping Duncan and Laura in line. Her work behind the scenes is absolutely invaluable in keeping the wheels of the whole operation running. Since starting at GG's in March 2026, she has transformed the working environment from building site to tranquil art deco.
Sophie is a keen runner and gym goer, as well as competing her (slightly accident prone) horse Cariad. Her trusty side kick, Zak or Chonk as he is fondly known, is never far from her heels.
